Seasons will feature the work of landscape painter Pamela Swenson. Swenson’s oil paintings are vibrant and expressive, using rich color and texture to create striking depictions of place. Her watercolors, consisting of layered washes and soft landscape forms, have a delicate, poetic quality. Swenson states, “I am inspired by nature wherever I am. Living in the country for most of my life, I have a strong connection to the land, sky, water, cycles of the moon, changes in the weather and the changing of the seasons. These qualities of nature greatly affect me and inform my work.”
